Who operates this website

China Travel OS is an independently operated digital travel-information publication based in China. Privacy questions can be sent to support@travelchinaos.com.

Browsing the public website

You can read public guides without creating an account. The site may receive ordinary technical information needed to deliver and protect a web request, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp and security signals. Hosting and network delivery are provided through Cloudflare.

Anonymous service measurement

To understand whether the free tools and purchase path are useful, the site keeps daily aggregate counts for a small allow-listed set of actions: opening or completing a public tool, viewing the Toolkit, reviewing checkout and choosing to continue toward checkout. Each count contains only the date, action name, public page path and a broad source category such as direct, internal, Google, Bing, social or other. The measurement endpoint does not receive an email address, license, account identifier, user-entered trip detail, full referring URL or advertising identifier. A temporary browser-session marker prevents the same action on the same page from being counted repeatedly during one open session; it is not sent to the server.

Toolkit access

When a Toolkit purchase is made, the website keeps the minimum operational record needed to grant and protect access: internal checkout references; Creem checkout, order, customer and transaction identifiers; product and entitlement status; a masked and one-way hashed purchase email; license and browser-instance identifiers; and payment, activation, use, expiry, refund and dispute timestamps.

Trip dates, city sequence, pace and transfer estimates, accommodation label, Chinese arrival address, checklist selections, communication-card choices and safe detail, responsibility-finder choice, insurer and embassy or consulate labels, and recovery notes are stored only in the purchaser's browser. Generated feasibility findings, communication cards, responsibility results and offline-pack content are calculated in that browser. They are not sent to China Travel OS and do not sync between devices. Users are told not to enter passport numbers, card details, passwords, complete booking codes, private home addresses or medical records. An encrypted, secure HttpOnly cookie keeps the active access session. China Travel OS does not receive or store card numbers, card security codes, wallet credentials or bank login details.

Travel-question builder and external AI services

Question-builder fields and the generated question remain in the purchaser's browser and are not automatically sent to China Travel OS, DeepSeek, Dola or another provider. If a user chooses to copy the question, open an external service and paste or enter content there, that independent provider processes the submitted information under its own terms and privacy policy. China Travel OS does not receive the external conversation. Users should remove personal, payment, identity, booking and health information before using any external AI service.

Payments handled by Creem

Creem acts as merchant of record and handles checkout, customer payment details, tax calculation, receipts, refunds, disputes and payouts. Creem processes that information under its own Privacy Notice and Buyer Terms. Payment methods and fields shown at checkout can vary by customer location and device.

Support messages

If you email support, we receive the address, message and attachments you choose to send. Do not send a full card number, card security code, password, identity document or complete license key. We use support messages to answer the request, investigate delivery or access problems and maintain an appropriate service record.

Why information is used

Information is used to deliver requested pages, provide and recover paid access, prevent fraud and misuse, answer support requests, maintain security, reconcile refunds or disputes and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use payment information for advertising.

Sharing and international processing

Information may be handled by service providers needed to operate the site, including Cloudflare for hosting and security and Creem for checkout and payment operations. These providers may process information in countries different from your own under their respective terms and safeguards. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.

Retention

Operational and support records are kept only for as long as reasonably needed for access, security, accounting, dispute handling and legal obligations. Browser workspace data remains on the device until the user clears it. Payment records retained by Creem follow Creem's policies and legal duties.

Your choices and rights

You may clear local browser data, remove an active Toolkit session from the account page, or contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information controlled by China Travel OS. Some records may need to be retained for security, accounting, dispute or legal reasons. Requests concerning checkout or payment data controlled by Creem should also be directed through the Creem customer portal.

Changes

Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. This notice does not override rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
