Ride-hailing can work well when mobile data, payment and the exact pickup zone are ready. Airport buses are useful only when a current route stops near the destination.
Can I take a taxi from a China airport without an app?
Major airports provide official taxi stands. Follow terminal signs to the staffed queue, refuse unsolicited rides inside the terminal, show the destination in Chinese and ask for the meter and receipt.
Should I book an airport pickup before arriving in China?

Can I rely on the last metro or airport train after an international flight?
